Most athletes never reach their potential — not because of talent, but because of who's in their corner.

That gap? It's been Coach Caulfield's obsession for nearly 30 years.

The strength and conditioning world is flooded with cookie-cutter programs, disconnected coaches, and organizations that treat athlete development as an afterthought. The result: underperforming teams, undertrained athletes, and missed opportunities at every level — from D3 rosters to Olympic podiums.

Caulfield has lived on both sides of that problem. As Head S&C Coach and Coaching Program Manager at the NSCA, he served as a national voice for the profession — building strategic partnerships with the NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA, and U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee. He's coached Division 1 athletes, SWAT operators, USA Bobsled & Skeleton athletes, the Chinese National speed skating team, and led the US Paralympic Sled Hockey Team's final prep before their 2014 Sochi Gold Medal run.

Today, as Director of Strength & Conditioning at Norwich University — the nation's first private military college — he brings that same elite standard to developing the next generation of citizen-soldiers and college-athletes.

He also lectures on the national and international circuit, translating decades of high-stakes experience into frameworks coaches and organizations can actually use.

If you're building something that demands excellence — a program, a team, a coaching staff — this is the conversation worth having.

“Scott’s work on coaching philosophy helps coaches make sense of why and how they do what they do.

In turn, coaches enhance their critical thinking and deepen their understanding of themselves.”

Dr. Brian T. Gearity, University of Denver, PhD, CSCS, FNSCA, ATC

“A gifted public speaker who really weaves a story in his presentations and takes you on a journey, first class in all he does.”

“From the first time I trained with Scott, I knew he would be a lifelong strength and conditioning (S&C) resource for me. He trained me throughout my career as a D1 soccer player and prepared me for the 2015 NWSL College Draft. I showed up to preseason with the Houston Dash physically prepared and solely had to focus on the soccer aspect due to his diligence getting my fitness baseline to the highest level possible.

I am a physical testament to his skill as a coach, coming from 4 knee surgeries in high school to having zero knee issues once I started working with him in college. His expertise and training have transcended my athletic career, and I still utilize his strength program as a Special Agent in the Federal Government. I count Scott as one of my friends, supporters, and an incredible S&C mentor.”
